Use a clean coffee grinder or a small food processor to chop the spices into a fine mix.
When was the last time you replaced your spices? If the flavor is lacking, it could be from old spices. It is important to know that spices do not expire over time; they just start to lose flavor and become less potent. Replace spices once a year for the best results!

My question is, now that I have all this dry mix made up, how much of the mix would I need to use to make it up as a dip and or a dressing. To add to that question, how much sour cream and low fodmap mayo would I need to use? I do know that I would need to add some lactose free milk to turn it into a dressing.
Thank you for your recipe and any answers.

Yay I am so glad you love this ranch seasoning mix! We do too. It is a must have in our spice cabinet. Thank you for taking the time to let me know.
I honestly usually only keep the ranch seasoning mix to use in recipes like taco soup and use my low FODMAP ranch dressing for dips and as ranch dressing. However, I would be comfortable saying to use two tablespoons of this seasoning mix with 3/4 cup mayo and 3/4 cup lactose free sour cream. Then I would thin it out with some fresh lemon juice to get that tang flavor. But if you didn't have lemon juice, I would use a unsweetened almond milk as another option. Thin more for dressing and less for a dip. And if you had any green onions around, I would add some chopped green onion tops just to add some freshness to the dressing/dip. I would also recommend letting the dressing sit and soak for a bit. Let all those dried herbs soften and release their flavors!
Happy low FODMAP ranch dressing/dips/seasoning mix time! I see delicious ranch flavors in your future!
