Spray the Instant Pot insert with nonstick cooking spray for easy cleanup.
Turn the Instant Pot function to saute and melt the butter.
While keeping the saute function on, add the rice to the insert and saute the rice in the butter. Stir constantly until the rice turns translucent and smells nutty.
Add the green onion tops, salt, and chicken broth. Stir.
Place the sealing ring in the cover of the instant pot. If need set the Instant Pot to sealing.
Set the manual pressure timer to 15 minutes.
Once the instant pot beeps do a quick release of the pressure. Fluff the rice with the white paddle that came with your instant pot and serve immediately.
Notes
Storage:Keep leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Eat within three days. Reheat in the microwave with an ice cube in the center and covered. This will help add moisture back to the leftover rice.
