This recipe for Instant Pot Wild Rice Blend is not only fast, but it also creates tender, fluffy rice. Perfect to use as a side dish or an ingredient in soup or casseroles.
Grease the Instant Pot liner of a 6-quart Instant Pot or any pressure cooker with nonstick cooking spray or softened butter for easy cleanup. Add the chicken broth and the wild rice blend. Stir.
Secure the sealing ring in the cover, and place the cover on the Instant Pot. Place on sealing if the Instant Pot requires that step. Set it to high pressure for 18 minutes. Once the the rice is done cooking, let the pressure naturally release for 15 minutes. Quick release any remaining pressure, and when the floating valve drops, open the lid.
Add the butter and stir. Taste and add salt if needed. Top with herbs if serving as a side dish or set aside if using in one of your favorite rice dishes.
